Precise cutting

Our crafters have years of experience, and will cut the leather preciously according to the design and pattern of different products, and will use the best position on the leather, try to avoid the parts with excessive skin grains, to ensure the consistency of the final product.

Leather Thickness Control

The thickness of the leather must be properly controlled to ensure the softness and hand feel of the finished product. Therefore, the leather will be skive to the certain thickness according to different finished products before production.

Leather on both sides

All parts of product will be stick with leather for both side of face and back, to ensure the hand feel and high end style of the products. As shown in the picture on the left, the short wallet is as fine as the card slots and the hidden compartment, our crafters will attach thin layer of leather inside, so the leather bottom will not be seen on the finished product, which adds a sense of luxury and durability. .

Double needle hand stitching

Most of our products are hand stitched by the French double needle hand stitch method. The principle of this stitch is the  8  stitch method, and the hand stitches are interlaced with each other; if the thread of the manual saddle stitch method is disconnected, it will not be All dispersing does not affect the strength, and the repair only takes a short distance. Visually, it will be more grainy, and the effect of the bottom stitching will be more consistent.

Polishing and brushing

After the stitching is completed, the next step is polishing the leather edge. Sandpapers of different roughnesses will be used for polishing, so that the edge of the product is at the same level, and then the edge is ready to enter the edge painting process.

Edge oil finishing

The leather edge is painted with French edge oil by hands. this process need to repeated three times from painting to brushing to create a smooth and full leather edge.

This process take up to four hours for one edge which fully test the crafters patient and skill.
